Serum from a single human donor is depleted of IgG and IgM immunoglobulins resulting in very low levels of intrinsic killing of target pathogen strains. Our standardized process preserves high hemolytic complement activity while retaining native serum properties critical for use in serum bactericidal and opsonophagocytic assays.
