TUBB2B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 19-47 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human TUBB2B.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Small volumes of anti-TUBB2B antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. TUBB2B: Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha-chain. TUBB2B is implicated in neuronal migration. Defects in TUBB2B are a cause of polymicrogyria asymmetric (PMGA). PMGA is a malformation of the cortex in which the brain surface is irregular and characterized by an excessive number of small gyri with abnormal lamination. Belongs to the tubulin family.
