Guinea Pig sera genetically deficient of C4 protein

Quidel's C4 Deficient Serum is specifically deficient of a single complement protein. With the exception of the C4 protein, the alternative and classical pathways are intact. These reagents are therefore ideal for the detection and quantitation of hemolytically active complement components.

Depleted sera have been used to assess complement activation in non-human species.
